Forward Thinkers, when preparing this series of teachings I requested a big scary looking mountain to use as the backdrop because it’s time we faced and conquered all of our fears and moved into a place of Increased Growth by releasing Mountain Moving Faith.

Forward Thinkers, my mountain may have a different name than your mountain but the faith needed is the same if the mountain stands between you and the fulfillment of God’s promises for your life.

Deuteronomy 1:6-8 The Message (MSG)

6-8 Back at Horeb, God, our God, spoke to us: “You’ve stayed long enough at this mountain. On your way now. Get moving. Head for the Amorite hills, wherever people are living in the Arabah, the mountains, the foothills, the Negev, the seashore—the Canaanite country and the Lebanon all the way to the big river, the Euphrates. Look, I’ve given you this land. Now go in and take it. It’s the land God promised to give your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and their children after them.”

God spoke to us and declared:

1- Forward Thinkers, you’ve been here long enough. Get to stepping and move forward.

2- Forward Thinkers, it’s time you face your fears and move forward.

3- Forward Thinkers, you will face Big mountains and Big rivers; therefore, Big Faith is required.

4- Forward Thinkers, this season we must operate like we believe we serve a Bigger God.

Jeremiah 32:27 New International Version (NIV)

27 “I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?

Prophecy– a prediction of the future made under divine inspiration; a message of divine truth revealing God’s will

Forward Thinkers, if we know the end, we can endure through the beginning and the middle.

Biblical Keys To Holding On To Your Faith:

1) Divine Truth– coming straight from God, trust worthy

2) God’s Will– what God will have for me is for me

Joshua 14:7 New International Version (NIV)

7 I was forty years old when Moses the servant of the Lord sent me from Kadesh Barnea to explore the land. And I brought him back a report according to my convictions,

Forward Thinkers, Caleb was 1 of the 12 spies who Moses sent out to spy the land of promise and while on the trip Caleb spotted a mountain he wanted for himself.

Forward Thinkers, Caleb picked land that was filled with giants living in it because his faith in God was strong enough to defeat the giants and take possession of the mountain. Forward Thinkers remember the wealth of the wicked will be transferred over to the righteous.

Caleb had a definite purpose in life—a purpose that was big enough and exciting enough to keep him alive 45 years later yes 95 years old strong.

Forward Thinkers, it may be on hold but believe it still belongs to you. Caleb spoke with faith and declared, “That’s my mountain.”

Hebrews 11:6

Amplified Bible (AMP)

6 But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He is the Rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him [out].

1. Forward Thinkers, we must become God pleasers and operate in FAITH

2. Forward Thinkers, we must enter into a personal relationship with God and make spending time with Him a priority.

3. Forward Thinkers, we must believe God is a Rewarder and has Unlimited resources.

Hebrews 11:17-19 The Message (MSG)

17-19 By faith, Abraham, at the time of testing, offered Isaac back to God. Acting in faith, he was as ready to return the promised son, his only son, as he had been to receive him—and this after he had already been told, “Your descendants shall come from Isaac.” Abraham figured that if God wanted to, he could raise the dead. In a sense, that’s what happened when he received Isaac back, alive from off the altar.

Forward Thinkers, Abraham put it ALL on the line and released his faith, believing God could give him victory through it ALL.

Genesis 22

Amplified Bible (AMP)

22 After these events, God tested and proved Abraham and said to him, “Abraham!” And he said, “Here I am.”

Your faith will go through a series of tests.

2 [God] said, Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the region of Moriah; and offer him there as a burnt offering upon one of the mountains of which I will tell you.

Your offering is an indicator of your true faith

3 So Abraham rose early in the morning, saddled his donkey, and took two of his young men with him and his son Isaac; and he split the wood for the burnt offering, and then began the trip to the place of which God had told him.

Faith is a journey, not a destination.

4 On the third day, Abraham looked up and saw the place in the distance.
