Psalm 28:6-7 New International Version (NIV)
6 Praise be to the Lord, for he has heard my cry for mercy.
7 The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him.
Forward Thinkers, as we celebrate the 11th Year Anniversary of the Green House International Church I will use Mount Rushmore in South Dakota as an example of a mountain used to communicate the vision, mission, purpose, and moral consciousness of a nation. Let’s not get my visual twisted. I’m not praising the four men on Mt. Rushmore (George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Thomas Jefferson, and Theodore Roosevelt) but the focus is that they represent the number four and today my goal is to communicate the 4 Pillars of GHIC. Forward Thinkers, also note it took from 1927 to 1941 which is fourteen years to complete the assignment on Mt. Rushmore. Forward Thinkers, remember God is not through with us yet.
“Stay faithful in things large and taking on the world, but stay faithful in those things small – because remember it’s the small things, the size of a mustard seed, that ultimately moves mountains.” -Senator Cory Booker NJ
Matthew 17:20 New International Version (NIV)
20 He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
“That’s been one of my mantras – focus and simplicity. Simple can be harder than complex: You have to work hard to get your thinking clean to make it simple. But it’s worth it in the end because once you get there, you can move mountains.” -Steve Jobs (Apple)
Exodus 3:1-14 New International Version (NIV)
Moses and the Burning Bush
3 Now Moses was tending the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian, and he led the flock to the far side of the wilderness and came to Horeb, the mountain of God. 2 There the angel of the Lord appeared to him in flames of fire from within a bush. Moses saw that though the bush was on fire it did not burn up. 3 So Moses thought, “I will go over and see this strange sight—why the bush does not burn up.”
4 When the Lord saw that he had gone over to look, God called to him from within the bush, “Moses! Moses!”
And Moses said, “Here I am.”
5 “Do not come any closer,” God said. “Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.” 6 Then he said, “I am the God of your father,[a] the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob.” At this, Moses hid his face, because he was afraid to look at God.
7 The Lord said, “I have indeed seen the misery of my people in Egypt. I have heard them crying out because of their slave drivers, and I am concerned about their suffering. 8 So I have come down to rescue them from the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land into a good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey—the home of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites. 9 And now the cry of the Israelites has reached me, and I have seen the way the Egyptians are oppressing them. 10 So now, go. I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt.”
11 But Moses said to God, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt?”
12 And God said, “I will be with you. And this will be the sign to you that it is I who have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you[b] will worship God on this mountain.”
13 Moses said to God, “Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is his name?’ Then what shall I tell them?”
14 God said to Moses, “I am who I am.[c] This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I am has sent me to you.’”
Forward Thinkers, Moses was given an assignment in the midst of chaos, crying, and captivity and to make things even more dramatic God calls him on a big mountain full of his enemies.

2. Forward Thinkers, Moses Answers the Call
3. Forward Thinkers, God Encour-ages Moses, I See You
4. Forward Thinkers, God Promises Moses, I Am with You
Forward Thinkers, we must hold on to and lean on these 4 Foundations of Faith while operating in Mountain Moving Faith. The enemy desires you to lose focus and get tired, but if we hold on instead of being tired we will declare I’m Ready/We’re Ready.
Let’s now look at the 4 Pillars of GHIC
1) STRONG FAITH
Forward Thinkers, we can’t operate in mountain moving faith without acquiring strong faith. To acquire strong faith we must intentionally focus on the Word of God and remove ourselves from the distractions of the world.
Forward Thinkers, never allow yourself to ever again say I’m too tired to read my bible, go to church, or pray because that’s a trick of the enemy to keep you distracted.
Forward Thinkers, your faith must be strong enough to speak to you when God is silent.
Forward Thinkers, faith comes by hearing the Word of God so your faith can only say what has been downloaded in your spirit.
Forward Thinkers, strong faith is needed during a difficult test. Will you choose faith or fear? Will you walk by faith not by sight or will you worry yourself to death?
2) SPIRITUAL GROWTH
1 Corinthians 13:11 New International Version (NIV)
11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me.
Luke 2:52 New International Version (NIV)
52 And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.
Forward Thinkers, spiritual growth is the answer to all other areas of growth that’s why Satan fights so hard against your spiritual growth. The devil don’t care if you go to church as long as you remain stuck in place. Church attendance is not the enemy’s fear, but you changing and maturing is his biggest fear.
When spiritual growth takes place, your light shines so bright it attracts people to the place of your growth which produces numerical church growth.
Forward Thinkers, financial growth is automatic where spiritual growth takes place because growing people sow into the source of their growth and understand giving is an act of worship.
Spiritual growth allows us to stay focused in spite of what’s going on around us as we stand on our foundations of faith.
3) SECURE FAMILIES
Joshua 24:15 New International Version (NIV)
15 But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.”
Forward Thinkers, we must promote and celebrate Kingdom Families and to teach the Word in a way families will break generational curses and operate in generational blessings.
A) Traditional Family
B) Blended Family
C) Single Family
D) Broken Family
E) Inter-racial Family
F) Non-traditional Family
Forward Thinkers, God designed the family of God to be earthly billboards promoting His Kingdom.
4) SOCIAL RESPONSIBLITY
Luke 4:18-19 New International Version (NIV)
18 “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free,
19 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”[a]
Matthew 25:35-40 New International Version (NIV)
35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink?38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
Proverbs 31:8-9 New International Version (NIV)
8 Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute.
9 Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy.
Forward Thinkers, we must position ourselves as the mouths, arms, legs, and instruments of God and operate in MOUNTAIN MOVING FAITH as we declare We’re not Tired but We’re READY to fulfill our assignment and set the people FREE.
