Sports Shorts: Andre Johnson to Retire with the Houston Texans

Former Houston Texans Wide Receiver Andre Johnson was spotted at Toyota Center Sunday night supporting the Houston Rockets team. News broke the following day that Johnson would be signed to a one-day contract so he can retire as a Texan. After being drafted 3rd overall in 2003, Johnson played 12 seasons with the Texans and became the franchise leader in career receptions, receiving yards, receiving touchdowns and 100-yd. games. Johnson will be honored on Wednesday, April 19 at NRG stadium.
