Legendary filmmaker Spike Lee’s latest film ‘BlackkKlansman’ was released this past weekend. The film is set in the 1970s and tells the true story of Ron Stallworth, played by John David Washington, the very first African-American detective that served in the Colorado Springs Police Department. Stallworth, with the help of several detective colleagues including but not limited to as Flip Zimmerman who was played by Adam Driver, managed to infiltrate the Ku Klux Klan and expose a chapter of the hate group.
