Denzel Washington is about to take home another Golden Globe.
The Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced Monday that The Equalizer star will be the recipient of the Cecil B. DeMille award at the 2016 Golden Globes.
Washington already has a pair of Globes on his mantle, having previously won for his portrayal of Rubin “Hurricane” Carter in 1999’s The Hurricane and for his performance in the 1989 Civil War drama Glory.
Previous Cecil B. DeMille Award recipients include Harrison Ford, Warren Beatty, Robert De Niro, Jodie Foster and Barbara Streisand. George Clooney took home the award last year, and toasted his new wife, Amal, from the stage.
The 73rd annual Golden Globe Awards will broadcast live on NBC Jan. 10, with Ricky Gervais back on board to host.
