On October 30, 2021, Jesse Owens Frazier, II, son of Forward Times Publisher Karen Carter Richards and Jesse Owens Frazier, Sr. and grandson of Forward Times Founder and Publishers Julius and Lenora Doll Carter and Jacob and Helen Frazier, married the love of his life, Natalie Amos, daughter of Ruth Chlarson and Edward Amos, II and granddaughter of Roy and Norma Chlarson and Edward Amos, Sr. and Alberta Amos.
The wedding party included: Bridesmaids Chelsea Lenora White, Nykayla Richards, Tiffany Amos, Cheri Lang, Ariana Morris, Victoria Amos, Dr. Jessika Mayes, Dominique Walker, Mirjana Williams; Best Woman Holly Price,Best Man Davonn Dutton, Groomsmen Joe Price, Edward Amos III, Richard Batista and Shady Judeh; Flower girl Arya Lang and Ring Bearers Aiden Lang and Dash Dutton.
Natalie made a stunning entrance down the aisle to Jesse and the two were serenaded by his sister Chelsea Lenora, who delivered a soul-stirring acoustic rendition of Leon Bridges’ “Beyond”.
The lovely couple were joined by 150 relatives and friends in New Orleans, Louisiana where they participated in a traditional second line immediately following their nuptials.
