“I truly believe that everything that we do and everyone that we meet is put in our path for a purpose. There are no accidents; we’re all teachers – if we’re willing to pay attention to the lessons we learn, trust our positive instincts and not be afraid to take risks or wait for some miracle to come knocking at our door.” Marla Gibbs
BORN TO DO THIS- LIVING LIFE ON PURPOSE pt.1
Forward Thinkers there are some people when you say or hear their name you can easily associate them with their purpose.
When you are living your life on purpose it allows God the opportunity to bless you with unusual favor and grace you with the ability to accomplish greater.
Forward Thinkers the reason God allowed us the freedom to travel through our mother’s birth canal is because He had a purpose for our lives. When you are operating within your God ordained purpose it becomes clear why you were born.
There are millions of men in the world with a first name beginning with a M and the last name beginning with a J but we all relate the name MJ to Michael Jordan and when he was on a basketball court it was clear MJ was born to do basketball.
Forward Thinkers now ask yourself are you living your life on purpose or have you settled with just being a survivor? Forward Thinkers a survivor is one who wakes up daily and goes through a routine without any real passion or purpose to impact the world around them.
Forward Thinkers we were not born to just survive we were born to discover our purpose, live within our purpose, and use our purpose to leave a mark that can never be erased.
Exodus 1:22 22 Then Pharaoh gave this order to all his people: “Every Hebrew boy that is born you must throw into the Nile, but let every girl live.”
Exodus 2: 1 Now a man of the tribe of Levi married a Levite woman, 2 and she became pregnant and gave birth to a son. When she saw that he was a fine child, she hid him for three months. 3 But when she could hide him no longer, she got a papyrus basket[a] for him and coated it with tar and pitch. Then she placed the child in it and put it among the reeds along the bank of the Nile. 4 His sister stood at a distance to see what would happen to him.
5 Then Pharaoh’s daughter went down to the Nile to bathe, and her attendants were walking along the riverbank. She saw the basket among the reeds and sent her female slave to get it. 6 She opened it and saw the baby. He was crying, and she felt sorry for him. “This is one of the Hebrew babies,” she said.
7 Then his sister asked Pharaoh’s daughter, “Shall I go and get one of the Hebrew women to nurse the baby for you?”
8 “Yes, go,” she answered. So the girl went and got the baby’s mother. 9 Pharaoh’s daughter said to her, “Take this baby and nurse him for me, and I will pay you.” So the woman took the baby and nursed him. 10 When the child grew older, she took him to Pharaoh’s daughter and he became her son. She named him Moses,[b] saying, “I drew him out of the water.”
Forward Thinkers we discover in this story that God has a plan for your lives before we are even born. Now, we must ask ourselves is the life we’re living really the reason we were born and if the answer is no we must then seek God for answers and based on those answers we must reroute our lives to the road of our purpose.
Forward Thinkers notice the enemy couldn’t stop Moses and the enemy can’t stop you when you are destined by God to do great things God will sent you divine protection. We should be encouraged by the fact that the midwives or Mother Nature (water, weeds, or snakes) could abort the plans God had for Moses. Forward Thinkers no weapon formed against us can prosper when we are operating in our life purpose.
Forward Thinkers the story of Moses proves once again it’s not how you start but how you finish that matters most. Moses has a difficult start but God has already planned a great future for him as well as you.
Forward Thinkers it is not a coincidence that Pharaoh’s daughter, Moses sister, and Moses mother all show up at the Nile River at the same time but I believe it’s a divine destiny connector. Forward Thinkers we must pause and recognize the hand of God working throughout our journey of life.
Forward Thinkers in the end of Exodus chapter 2 Moses gets in trouble and has to run for his life but notice in the beginning of chapter 3 God calls Moses to lead his people out of bondage. Forward Thinkers guess what God knew about chapter 2 of Moses life before he called him in the beginning of chapter 3 (somebody including me can shout right there). Forward Thinkers the devil thought a bad chapter would end your story but thank God that He gets the last say and not the devil.
Exodus 4:1 Moses answered, “What if they do not believe me or listen to me and say, ‘The Lord did not appear to you’?”
Forward Thinkers Moses responded to God’s call with fear and doubt because he didn’t in himself what God saw in him. Forward Thinkers to operate in your life purpose you must identify the greatness God placed inside of you to do something great. Moses began asking, “what if they don’t believe?”
Forward Thinkers the greatest level of freedom is the freedom from what people think. Forward Thinkers this is a revelation you must grasp people who don’t believe in themselves will never be able to believe in your greatness. Forward Thinkers stop letting small minded people keep you acting small to gain their approval. Forward Thinkers when you are operating in your life purpose and when you discover why you were born you can’t afford wait on the approval of others who don’t understand your life journey. Forward Thinkers I’ll never forget a situation in elementary school where my drama teacher embarrassed me because of how fast I talked by then and years later I was able to return back to the same school and inform her that I’m now getting paid to talk across the country and she still sitting in that same small classroom.
2 Then the Lord said to him, “What is that in your hand?” “A staff,” he replied.
Forward Thinkers when God gave you the assignment He also gave you the ability to perform the assignment so stop waiting for more and start using what you have right now. Remember Forward Thinkers winning starts in the mind.
