Yates High School will host a FREE Powerade NCAA Youth Basketball Clinic on Saturday, April 2, from 9am to 12:30pm, as part of the 2016 NCAA Men’s Basketball Final Four Tournament that will be in Houston from April 2-4. Yates is located at 3703 Sampson St., Houston, TX 77004. The free youth clinic is open to students in grades 3-8. Participants will learn fun basketball drills, and healthy lifestyle tips from NCAA coaches and student athletes. Each participant will receive a FREE t-shirt and other promotional items. Clinics will also feature a session for parents/guardians with information on sports recruiting and academic and eligibility guidelines.
