(1 Kings 9: 6-9)
King Solomon was known as the wisest man to have lived, because he asked God for wisdom. Solomon was the son of King David, and David was affectionately known as a man after God’s own heart. God told Solomon, ask of me, your heart’s desire, and it shall be granted. Solomon asked God to give him wisdom that he might be able to lead God’s people (godly leadership). Solomon did not ask God for money (great-wealth); but for leadership wisdom, because: “The love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.” (1 Timothy 6:10). God granted Solomon his request simply because he asked God for the appropriate tool in order to be a godly leader; God gave him enormous wealth. Thus, Solomon was also known as the richest man to have lived. The moral of the story is this: God will give you, your heart’s desire. Therefore, individuals better make sure that they have a pure heart if they desire leadership responsibility, because: “The Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.” (Motives). (1 Samuel 15:7). Because: “Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the Lord pondereth the hearts.” (Proverbs 21:2). Hence, God warned Solomon concerning disobedience. Unfortunately, Solomon’s greatness also became his spiritual leadership downfall, and the one thing God told him not to do, he did anyway. Shame! Question: did God choose America to be a blessing of peace and prosperity to the entire world just as He chose Israel to be a blessing to the world? The spiritual blessings of America are enshrined in the Preamble and The U. S. Constitution as well as inscribed upon The Statute of Liberty. (Genesis 12: 1-3). Question: has America turned away from God under the Ungodly–Leadership of Christian Right Evangelicals, GOP Loyalists, and President Trump? America, individuals cannot elevate one sin above another: sin is sin (PERIOD). There is no little sin or big sin. God hates sin; especially the sin of racism (Number 12: 1-12). Therefore, according to Biblical teachings, only two individuals did not sin: Jesus and Enoch. Enoch spiritually walked with God, “and all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty five years: and Enoch walked with God, and he was not; for God took him.” (Genesis 5: 23-24). God lifted Enoch up into heaven in a cloud; thus, Enoch did not physically die.
France gave America “Lady of Liberty” sculptured in the image of a woman because of the nurturing and caring qualities of women: “Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door”! Now, under the leadership of Christian Right Evangelicals, GOP Party, and Southern Dixiecrats/Trump Loyalists and their exclusionary federal governmental policies are the most ungodly-radical-racists-white privilege-exclusionary individuals on planet earth who simply desire retribution against permanent-tan-minorities. The question is why? If you are superior why hate and discriminate against others who do not look like you, but who accept you as the Will of God? None of us had anything to do with the birth of others: BUT GOD! Hence, “Lo, children are a heritage of the Lord; and the fruit of the womb is his reward.” (Psalm 127:3). Moreover, since you are superior why don’t you just celebrate; not hate? Just as beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, so is hatred in hearts of ungodly males! Minorities definitely do not hate Caucasians nor fear them, because: “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this judgment.” (Hebrews 9:27). Thus, if Caucasians did not die then everyone should fear Caucasians and not fear God, because it is written “The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom, and before honour is humility.” (Proverbs 15:33). It is not about skin. It is about sin, because sin is about one’s spiritual character! Therefore, a good spiritual understanding is the well-spring of life, and therefore, King Solomon said in all of one’s getting, seek a good spiritual understanding concerning life. Jesus taught us concerning spiritually asking, seeking, and knocking for godly things in his name: “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be open unto you.” (Matthew 7:7) Moreover, this is why King David said: “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord; and he delighted in his way.” (Psalm 37:23). Hence, a good individual is one who follows God, trusts God, and seeks to obey God’s Will by exampling/living the Two Great Commandments, because “Fools make a mock at sin: but among the righteous there is favour.” (Proverbs 14:9). More importantly, “The fear of the Lord is hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the forward mouth, do I hate.” (Proverbs 8:13). King Solomon wanted to impart spiritual wisdom to all individuals regardless of social statuses; especially leaders, because knowing God is the key to wisdom. Solomon allowed God to teach him how to live and this is why he could say: “Get wisdom, get understanding; forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth. Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee. Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting, get understanding.” (Proverbs 4: 4-7).
In (1 Kings 9: 6-9), God warned Israel concerning whoring after false gods and ungodly leaders just as some Statesman-like-politicians warned America concerning the chaotic spiritual leadership mentality of Donald J. Trump. Now, unnecessarily, America is spiritually reaping the whirlwind of an ungodly chaotic leadership mentality, and many God-fearing-Christians are asking: “Why hath the Lord done thus unto this land, and to this house? And they shall answer, Because they forsook the Lord their God, who brought forth their fathers out of the land of Egypt, and have taken hold other gods, and have worshipped them, and served them: therefore hath the Lord brought upon them all this evil.” (1 King 9: 8-9). America, we do not profess to know God’s ways, because God’s ways are not our ways, but we do know that God has said this: “The house of the wicked shall be overthrown: but the tabernacle of the upright shall flourish.” (Proverbs 14:11). There is no other way to state this, other than to ask these questions: is God spiritually seeking to get America’s attention? Why it is that America has more COVID-19 cases and deaths than any other nation-state? God told Noah that it was going to rain forty days/forty nights, and no man can destroy the earth, because: “The earth is the Lord’s, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.” (Psalm 24:1). Hence, no Presidential/Dictatorial Leader can destroy the Word of God or the earth because God has said: “No More Water But The Fire Next Time”. This is why Baptism is spiritual redemption and fire is spiritual purification. America, we have fallen away from the Truth of God; therefore, know this: “If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to open shame.” (Hebrews 6:6). America, in such a time as this renew thy self-unto-God. Selah!
