Houston-based physician, Dr. Kevin R. Smith, recently appeared on the popular “The Doctors” television program, to share his discovery of a successful innovative treatment and groundbreaking cure for severe migraine headaches.
Dr. Smith, a board certified otolaryngologist and plastic surgeon, has dedicated over 20 years in researching and perfecting his “S.M.I.T.H. Technique” (Smith Migraine Imposter Technique for Headaches) for the treatment and cure of migraine sufferers.
With thousands of patients suffering from oftentimes a debilitating condition due to migraine headaches, many have unsuccessfully been able to find a cure or relief.
Dr. Smith has been able to provide relief to over 2,000 patients who were given a diagnosis of migraine, but upon further testing, actually had a deviated septum. In fact, his success rate is nearly 90% in providing relief and/or cure from this debilitating condition.
One of Dr. Smith’s patients, Kim Hamilton, had also been diagnosed with migraine headaches early in her childhood after a gymnastics fall. For over 40 years, Kim suffered until she recently met Dr. Smith, who discovered a bone spur in her nose which was the cause of her discomfort. Since undergoing the specialized technique to remove the spur, she has been remarkably pain-free. Previously, Kim would have had at least 10 migraines had it not been for Dr. Smith’s innovative treatment.
Dr. Smith has also authored a book, “The Migraine Imposter,” which highlights the dilemma that there are many patients with a migraine diagnosis who actually have a deviated septum or a bone spur as the root cause of their pain and discomfort. Per Dr. Smith, once the deviated septum is corrected after a 30-minute procedure that is covered by insurance, the patient is immediately relieved of the pain and discomfort.
Dr. Smith contends that the evaluation of a patient is incomplete with only conducting MRI testing of the brain and a CT scan of the sinuses, and that too often people are given a diagnosis of a migraine while missing a critical piece of evidence. He suggests getting more information.
