As former first lady Michelle Obama came to town this past Saturday, March 2, she was welcomed by a brand new mural that sits next to the one done for her husband, former President Barack Obama. The mural, which is located across the street from the famous local eatery, the breakfast klub, was requested by the breakfast klub owner Marcus Davis and pays homage to Michelle Obama’s work with young girls through the Global Girls Alliance. The eye-catching mural was done by local artist Reginald Adams, who created the mural of President Obama for Davis back in 2008. Both murals have caused a tremendous amount of buzz in the city.
