Former University of Houston athlete William Jackson has a torn pectoral muscle. The timetable for his return is expected to be three to four months. This means he will miss the start of the regular season.
Last season at the University of Houston, Jackson recorded five interceptions, and was named the Defensive MVP of the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl.
Jackson was drafted No. 24 overall by the Cincinnati Bengals. Luckily for the Bengals, they have enough depth at the cornerback position. Adam Jones, Dre Kirkpatrick and Darqueze Dennard are on the depth chart. In the meantime, Jackson is seeking a second opinion.
