This past Saturday, December 5, the American Heart Association African American Leadership Circle (AALC) hosted The Red Heart Holiday Soiree at the Center Stage Art Gallery located at 3527 State Highway 6, Suite 250 in Sugar Land, Texas.
Guests wore festive red holiday attire and enjoyed a night of food, live entertainment featuring D.J. D-Snipes and an exciting new singing duo called Southern Wild.
During the event, members of the AALC shared important information about the American Heart Association and how attendees can support the organization during the holidays and year round. Local survivors shared their experiences and how they are now using their platform to make a difference in the community. The event also included a silent auction, where a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Go Red for Women campaign (www.goredforwomen.org).
