Rick Ross may be known as the bawse of Maybach Music Group but he’s no rookie when it comes to giving back.
The Miami native recently made a surprise visit to the Southern Crescent Habitat for Humanity’s first project in Fayette County (located in the Greater Atlanta Area). While there he spoke about the importance of giving back and even helped paint a house for military veteran Steve Jacobs.
“Anything that I can do, I want to do it,” Rozay said while working the event. He was also part of discussion that examined the need for affordable housing and home repairs in the area. According to a press release about the Fayette project Ross is involved in other community initiatives in Miami, Memphis and New Orleans. The South Crescent Habitat for Humanity’s Facebook page recently posted about his involvement in the program.
“We surprised our lucky group of volunteers bright and early this morning with a visit from rapper Rick Ross today at our home repair for veteran Steve Jacobs in Fayetteville!” the SCHH wrote as their status. “He’s a big fan of Habitat for Humanity and passionate about his city, so we’ll be collaborating real soon. We’re doing big things here at SC Habitat!”
Shoutout to the Hood Billionaire for giving back.
