Each year a group of talented individuals who have had breakthrough performances are honored with a Virtuoso Award at the 32nd Annual Santa Barbara international Film Festival.
This year’s awardees include; Mahershala Ali (Moonlight), Dev Patel (Lion), Simon Helberg (Florence Foster Jenkins), Stephen McKinley Henderson (Fences), Ruth Negga (Loving), Naomie Harris (Moonlight), Janelle Monáe (Moonlight, Hidden Figures), and Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Nocturnal Animals). The Awards were presented by actor Christopher Lloyd (Back to the Future).
