Spring has begun and that means PARTY TIME. In Houston, teens are beginning their spring breaks and it’s time for them to turn up and party. Teens are making preparations to have, host, and attend kick backs and parties. Now you can’t just say to yourself “hey, I want to have a party on some particular day” and expect 50-100 people to just show up; no, you must do what is called promotion(s). Now teens are not like adults so they don’t do flyers or announcements at facilities or job places, but rather teens use Social Media to promote any events that they feel are going to be fun or exciting which creates great memories for all attendees. The main social media apps are Instagram and Twitter. Instagram is more so used for flyer promotion use while twitter allows people to get exclusive details; and these two main components are the ultimate tag team promotion formula. Now, mainly what happens is first the person or group announces their Party or Kick Back on Instagram and Twitter stating contact info in tandem with where the party or function is located. Then the party will promote it for the first 2 weeks by posting and reposting updates or the party could take it to the next level in promotion and create a blog. Soon after, say a week, the party begins to use Instagram for videos and pictures of the site and Twitter to tell what makes their party unique such as famous performers, food, soda-drinks, entertainment overall draws. Once all of that is completed you will have plenty of guests arriving every minute and you will have a successful turn-up party. Social Media is the next new real time promotion method for everyone because it’s a more efficient way to get the word out, and that’s just another fragment of proof that technology is the new era of the world.
