On Tuesday, June 27, 2017, the Career and Recovery Resources, Inc. held its Twenty-First Annual Barrier Breaker Award Luncheon from 11:30 – 1:00 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Houston, 1200 Louisiana at Polk, Houston, Texas. The Emcees were Cynthia Cisneros (VP Community Affairs, ABC 13-KTRK Television) and Spencer Tillman (Author & Fox Sports Sr. Analyst). Video remarks were presented by The Honorable Sheila Jackson Lee (U.S. Congressional Member 18th District of Texas), The Honorable Pete Olson (U.S. Congressional Member 22nd District of Texas), and David Mincberg (Comments and Proclamations). Over $237,000 was raised at the luncheon.
