Una Notte In Italia (A Night in Italy) Benefiting the Houston Area Women’s Center
The Houston Area Women’s Center recently held a fundraising event in the name of “Una Notte In Italia” (A Night in Italy) on November 3, 2017, at the Royal Sonesta Hotel in the Galleria Area. The evening featured a night full of fashion that included a men’s fashion show featuring businessmen and athletes, followed by a delicious Italian dinner. KPRC-Channel 2 News Anchor Dominique Sachse served as Mistress of Ceremonies and welcomed everyone. The Honorary Chairman was Debbie Festari and the Co-Chairs were Sippi Khurana and Kendra Smith. Fashion show participants included: Jeff Bagwell, Ryan Bass, Michael Bertuccio, Rob Chramosta, Kiki Dikmen, Duke Ensell, Mario Elie, Tom Fitzpatrick, Sam Governale, Andre Hal, Ajay Khurana, Al Lindseth, Dr. Roland Maldonado, Nick Merchant, Whitney Mercilus, Lamar Miller, John Nichols, Brian Peters, Chad Pinkerton, Dean Putterman, Guillermo Sierra, Martijn Van Koolwijk, Larry Wagner, & Blu Whipple. Houston Area Women’s Center mission helps individuals affected by domestic and sexual violence in their efforts to move their lives forward. Johnny Dang & Paul Wall Celebrate One Year Anniversary of Johnny Dang & Co. Store
Celebrity jeweler Johnny Dang and business partner, Grammy nominated rapper Paul Wall recently held a private anniversary party on Saturday, October 21, 2017. The Johnny Dang & Co. brand was honored for their accomplishments, long-standing service to the Houston community, and for the one-year anniversary of their 14,000 square foot flagship store, Johnny Dang & Co., located at 6224 Richmond Ave. in Houston. Emcees for the evening included Emmy nominated KRIV-26 News anchor Jonathan Martin. KHOU-11 meteorologist, Chita Craft, presented Johnny Dang & Co. with Congressional recognition from Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee. Many came out to support the anniversary of the store. After the devastation of Hurricane Harvey, they initiated philanthropic efforts, which have raised thousands of dollars to assist flood victims in rebuilding their homes and their lives.
