The word for this week is…..Party!
Houston native and gospel elite, Kathy Taylor really knows how to throw a PARTY!
If you were not at the historical Buffalo Soldiers Museum on May 29th for Kathy Taylor’s Single Release Cyber Party & Concert, you missed an awesome worship experience. The gospel maven took us on a musical journey like only she could. We heard a good mix of gospel music and it wasn’t just all from Kathy Taylor. We were blessed with new music from Houston’s own Trinity Dawson; Chrystal Rucker; Sunday Best Finalist, Zebulon Ellis; and Sunday Best Finalist/uGospel correspondent Clifton Ross III, who stopped by too.
The Cyber Party & Concert was a chance for all Kathy Taylor fans and supporters to hear and see her up close, and enjoy her in a very intimate setting.
As I said earlier, the worship experience was genuine, pure, and she didn’t disappoint. We got a chance to hear some of her classics like the Corinthian Song which is always an instant fan favorite. We even got a glimpse into her upcoming project entitled, “I Can.” A release date has not been determined yet but as soon as I get a confirmed date, I’ll definitely let you know.
Awesome venue…check; great singing…check; unforgettable worship experience…check! You really couldn’t ask for much more but the party would not have been complete if Houston’s gospel community didn’t show up for the party of the year. Individuals such as Pastor Kirbyjon Caldwell (Windsor Village UMC), V. Michael McKay, songstress Nikki Ross, Kurt Carr, Nzinga Speaks, Chad Brawley and many more.
I can’t wait until Mrs. Taylor’s next event; it’s one you surely don’t want to miss!
